9月に東京で開催され全49種目の競技が行われました！テレビ中継を見ていた方も多かったのでは？日本は、銅メダルを2個獲得しました。

今大会では世界新記録が1件、大会記録が7件更新（または同記録）となり、数々の歴史的快挙も達成されました。サモア、セントルシア、ウルグアイが初の世界陸上メダルを獲得し、タンザニアは初の金メダルを獲得しました。

選手の皆さまお疲れ様でした♪次回の世界陸上競技選手権大会は、2027年に北京で開催されます。



The Championships were held in Tokyo this September, featuring competitions across all 49 disciplines.
Many of you probably caught the action on television, didn’t you?

Japan brought home 2 bronze medals!
This edition saw one new world record and seven new championship records (including ties), along with many other historic achievements.

Notably, Samoa, Saint Lucia, and Uruguay celebrated their first-ever World Athletics medals, while Tanzania captured its maiden gold. Congratulations to all the athletes!
The next World Athletics Championships will take place in Beijing in 2027.
