6月（水無月）夏への季節変わり目の月！ | June – The Month of Changing Seasons to summer

紫陽花・・・梅雨の始まる頃から咲き始め、梅雨が終わる頃に花期が終わる「梅雨の花」
15年間、毎年6月初め、ロマンスカーに乗り、箱根駅の近くになると両側の線路沿いには、紫陽花の花、色とりどりが雨に打たれる姿を眺めながら。宿泊（研修会）に通った思い出がある。
最近、沖縄（地元）に帰られご近所だった方から、ジャングリア沖縄北部（世界自然遺産）から車で25分位の町「よへな紫陽花園」ウトさんと言われるおばーさんが、ご主人のお兄さんから2株の紫陽花を譲り受け、みかん畑の合間に植えた紫陽花が今では、30万輪咲き誇り、多くの人に感動を届けていて沖縄伝統の「ブーゲンビレア」赤や黄色、オレンジの色合いの花の周りに、癒しき色彩の紫陽花が咲き誇っている写真が送られてきた。今ではヤンバルの絶景ポイントとして沖縄の人々から愛されているとの事です。
気候変動度・・・雨が多い？少ない？関係なく、梅雨の月が近くになると咲き誇る紫陽花
花の色も白から薄緑、薄青、淡紅、藍、紫、濃紫、七変化という異名で呼ばれている。
June is the month when the seasons begin to change from spring to summer.
It’s also the time when hydrangeas start to bloom. These flowers are often called “rainy season flowers” because they bloom when the rainy season starts and finish when it ends.
For the past 15 years, I’ve had a little tradition.
Every June, I ride the Odakyu Romancecar train to Hakone.
As the train gets closer to Hakone Station, I can see many hydrangeas blooming along the tracks. The colorful flowers, wet from the rain, look very beautiful.
When I see them, I remember the training camps I used to attend in Hakone.
A neighbor of mine recently moved back to her hometown in Okinawa.
She told me about a place called Yohena Hydrangea Garden in northern Okinawa, which is a World Natural Heritage site.
A kind old woman named Uto-san started the garden many years ago.
She planted just two hydrangea plants in a mandarin orange field, and now there are more than 300,000 flowers!
My ex neighbor sent me a photo.
In the picture, beautiful hydrangeas bloom next to bright red, orange, and yellow bougainvillea flowers, which are traditional in Okinawa.
The garden has become a famous and loved spot for many people in the area.
Even with climate change and strange weather, hydrangeas still bloom around the rainy season.
Their colors change in many ways—from white, light green, blue, pink, purple, and even deep violet. That’s why in Japanese, they’re sometimes called shichihenge, which means “seven changes.”
